It seems like forever since I've heard his laugh.
It seems like forever since he held my babies.
It seems like forever since he wore his shoulder britches.
It seems like forever since he made his grandson and namesake giggle.
It seems like forever since he snuggled the grandkids into his big chair.
It seems like forever since he tickled some toes.
It seems like forever since I last saw his face.
But it was just a year ago today that we buried my dad.
